Ministerial Licensing

In addition to education transferability, Commission Ministers Network and Elim Fellowship also consider ISOM to fulfill their respective training requirements for ministerial licensing.

Commission Ministers Network Ministerial Licensing

Commission Ministers Network

Commission Ministers Network is an international association of ministers and ministries that exists to serve men and women who are actively ministering to the Body of Christ.  CMN does this by providing ministerial credentials for qualified candidates who are already serving in full or part time ministry or, in the event credentials are necessary for ministry, who will become actively engaged in ministry upon receiving their credentials.
Completion of the five Trimesters of the ISOM core curriculum meets the educational requirements for licensing through CMN. Graduates interested in credentials are invited to apply with CMN online at: www.CMNetwork.org

Good Shepherd Ministries International, founder of the ISOM, will facilitate the process by providing a transcript (currently $10, but subject to change) of ISOM grades. From there, interested graduates will need to pursue all applications, agreements, fees, etc., directly with Commissions Ministers Network.  Please note, a drastically reduced fee structure is available from CMN for candidates working in developing nations and under special circumstances.

To begin the process, submit a Transcript Request form.

Information to begin the application process with Commission Ministers Network can be found here:

Ministerial Licensing considers many parts of an applicant’s life. Being an ISOM graduate meets CMN Education requirements, but does not guarantee Ministerial credentials since many other aspects are considered in the process.
Elim Fellowship Ministerial Licensing for US & Canada

Elim Fellowship

Elim Fellowship, an international Pentecostal and Charismatic fellowship, purposed to “…raise up a new generation of spiritual leaders…connected to what God is doing today…” , has recently agreed that ISOM Trimesters 1-5 training would fulfill their training requirements, and interested parties are welcomed to apply for ministerial licensing through Elim Fellowship.

Good Shepherd Ministries International, founder of the ISOM, will facilitate the process by providing a transcript (currently $10, but subject to change) of ISOM grades. From there, interested graduates will need to pursue all applications, agreements, fees, etc., with Elim Fellowship directly.

For those based in the USA, please see Elim Fellowship’s site and information here:

For those based in Canada, please see Elim Fellowship Canada’s site and information here:

Currently, Elim Fellowship and Elim Fellowship Canada only offer ministerial licensing for those based in the USA or Canada, respectively. Ministerial licensing for those based outside of the USA or Canada is not available at this time.

Ministerial Licensing considers many parts of an applicant’s life. Being an ISOM graduate meets Elim Fellowship’s training requirement, but does not guarantee Ministerial credentials since many other aspects are considered in the process. Ministerial Credentialing, even within a specific fellowship, does not guarantee or promise a full or part time, pastoral, or other ministry-related job. It recognizes a call to ministry, but also fulfills a legal requirement (in many states and countries) to perform marriages, funerals, administer communion, and fulfill other “sacerdotal” duties. It also is a representation of the ministerial fellowship issuing the credentialing, and is usually revocable. For a full understanding, please read all materials carefully.
